Ronnie Koenig has written for Cosmopolitan, Penthouse, Self, Redbook, Marie Claire and Best Life.
She is the former editor-in-chief of Playgirl magazine, a job that led to appearances on Fox News and The O’Reilly Factor and inspired her forthcoming chick-lit novel, Dirty Girl, and a screenplay of the same title and subject.
Ronnie brought the stage play version of Dirty Girl to universities across the United States as part of a college lecture tour. The play enjoyed a critically-acclaimed run at the Kraine Theater in New York City and previous productions of the show were done at Makor (92nd St. Y), the Museum of Sex and Ars Nova.
For two years, Ronnie penned “Siren Says,” a weekly humor column for amNewYork. She taught comedy writing at Gotham Writers’ Workshop and is a graduate of Barnard College and the MFA playwriting program at Ohio University.
A native of Long Island, she lives in Brooklyn with her husband.
